ABOUT MARKUS
A relationship built
on understanding
Hi, I’m Markus, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist based in Woking, Surrey.
I work with people facing a wide range of life challenges, offering a supportive space where you can slow down, feel heard and make sense of what’s happening for you.
I have a particular interest in supporting people through life transitions, including changes in health, diagnosis and ongoing illness, as well as shifts in identity, relationships and work. These experiences can feel unsettling and uncertain, but also open the possibility for reflection and change.
I work with adults aged 18 and over.
How I work
I offer a confidential, non-judgemental space, built on trust and respect.
I offer both short- and long-term therapy and work integratively, drawing on Clarkson’s model, while tailoring my approach to you as an individual — your story, your challenges and your hopes.
In practice, this means drawing on different ways of understanding people, with the relationship between us at the centre. Together, we can explore your experiences, build resilience and find a way forward that feels more grounded and authentic.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that change becomes possible through self-understanding, connection and the space to process difficult experiences at your own pace.
